® View/Light Combo Hinged Sight Glass Series SKS" style="float: right">ESKS integral light/sightglass units have a quick release closure, so that they are a combination of charge/access port and light/sightglass. The integrated luminaire illuminates the internal of boilers, tanks, bunkers, silos, mixers and other vessels in all non hazardous areas. SKS type sightglass ports are of the same design, except they have no luminaire. Both types are suitable for food processing. Usually these units come with a weld flange, but for flat vessel walls they can also be installed with a bolt-on flange.

® Aseptic Two Piece Sight Glass Series NA.99" style="float: right">For aseptic and sanitary applications, the new flush-mounted NAconnect sight glass from L.J. Star Incorporated provides clear process visibility and unmatched safety with minimal maintenance requirements. The NAconnect sight glass design eliminates the dead leg created by a standard sanitary ferrule connection, avoiding air pockets and trapped undissolved materials.
These new weld-on sight glasses feature MetaClamp® sanitary (3A Approved) safety sight windows which provide a level of safety and a useful service life well beyond that provided by the conventional tempered glass or plastic windows commonly used in aseptic and sanitary service.

Circular Bolt-On Sight Glass for ANSI Flange Connections
Ready for installation on existing ANSI or DIN standard flanges, this bolt-on unit consists of a base with a raised face flange to fit standard ANSI Class 150 flange nozzles. Sizes range from 2 to 8" and all conform to ASTM standards. The glass disc, either borosilicate or quartz, is clamped in place by a gasketed glass retainer held by threaded bolts.
For added safety, use a Metaglas Safety Sight Glass disc in place of the conventional glass. Other options include lights, such as the USL13, Wiper Type I, and a spray ring, inquire for details.

Metaglas® Hinged Sight Glass for Quick & Easy Vessel Access
When a quick-opening port is required in a process application, this hinged assembly, which incorporates the use of Metaglas, can be used up to 150 psi, depending on size. It is particularly suitable where a process requires sampling or additives, or when it is necessary to clean the inside of the sight glass from time to time. Both ANSI bolt-on and weld-on styles are available. Accessories available include Lumiglas luminaires and wipers, inquire for details.

Lumiglas® Hi-Pressure Weld-On Sight Glass Series DIN 28120
Available in six standard sizes that provide viewing areas ranging in size from approximately 3" to 9" in diameter. This weld-on assembly is designed to provide direct visual inspection of process vessels, separators, silos, pipelines and storage tanks.
To illuminate the interior of the vessel, an optional LumiStar Light allows viewing and lighting through the same port, saving the additional expense of a separate light port. Explosion proof lights, see USL05-Ex, and non-explosion proof lights, see USL13, are available as well, inquire for details.

Lumiglas® Low-Profile & Low-Pressure Weld-On Sight Glass
These weld-type sight glass fittings, complete with glass disc, seal gasket, and cushion gasket bolted between circular flanges, is the low-pressure version of the DIN28120. The units can be combined with Lumiglas luminaires, such as the USL05-Ex, USL06-Ex, USL07-Ex or USL08-Ex , for use in hazardous areas. Under all normal working conditions, light options include USL01 , USL13 , USL15 , USL05 , USL06 , or USL07 . For an integral light/sight glass, combine the low pressure unit and LumiStar light. Options include sightglass wipers type SW I.

Lumiglas® Low-Cost Weld-Neck Sight Port Series MV
A combination of easy cleaning and a clear field of visibility is provided by this specially constructed unit. With a butt-weld connection, these Series-MV sight glasses allow the maximum view area in a minimal amount of space. An optional compact light source, type MV-ME, eliminates the added cost of a separate light port. Series-MV ports are particularly suitable for use in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries where frequent simple opening of the sight glass is required.
