Description:
Chemfluor® PFA encapsulated
fittings are constructed of Chemfluor® PFA individually
molded around a stainless steel base material. The
Chemfluor® PFA is dove-tail-locked to flange faces and
secured internally and throughout the serrated areas of the
fitting by multiple drillings.
Minimum Chemfluor® PFA
thickness on any portion of the fitting is .050 inch.
Precision moldings assure uniformity. Each style fitting of
same size has identical orifice openings eliminating
potential entrapment at fitting connections.
All encapsulated
fittings are designed to maximize flow rates and generally
have larger openings than conventional lined fittings.
Because the Chemfluor® PFA is locked to a stainless steel
base, liner "flare-away" on flange faces is eliminated.
