This
cover protects the hose from external heat/flame. It also
helps insulate hot internal materials from the worker's
touch. Material is braided fiberglass tubing impregnated
with silicone rubber. The sleeve is normally clamped at the
fittings. Firesleeve is engineered to withstand continuous
temperatures from -65°F to 500°F.
