Description:
The PVDF (Kynar®)
braid used on the TWOK/TBOK series hose is designed for use
in those severe applications where external corrosion from
the presence of strong acids and hostile environments will
attack standard SS braid. PVDF braid is also recommended in
the transfer of chlorinated fluids/gases that may permeate
the PTFE liner. When the permeated gases eventually mix with
the moisture in air, they can create hydrocholoric acid that
can quickly attack the Stainless Steel braid reinforcement.
These conditions could eventually lead to catastrophic
hose failure.
