Bio
Clamp
As the alternative to traditional stainless
steel clamps, the Bio Clamp is light weight,
tough and resilient. The Bio Clamp’s design and
construction lend itself to increased heat
dissipation during high temperature
applications. Reducing heat in non-metallic
ferrules reduces the chance of warping and
allowing leaks to occur. It may be sterilized by
either steam or gamma irradiation. Designed to
fit sanitary flanges conforming to ISO 2852.
With testing on the individual sizes of the Bio
Clamp™, it may be determined that the process of
autoclaving & gamma sterilization has no
negative effect on the durability and

Bio Y
True-bore ID results in full drainage with less
turbulence and entrapment because the Bio Y
perfectly matches tubing ID: flow levels between
tubing and the Bio Y are always compatible.

Cap
The Bio Cap is the only non-metallic cap with a
built-in tab for quick removal, which reduces
potential damage to sanitary flanges. The tab
eliminates the tendency to use non-sanitary
tools, including screwdrivers and pliers, to
assist in cap removal. The cap is delivered with
permanent size and lot number identification to
ensure proper use and easy traceability.
The Flat End Cap
has the same uses as the Bio Cap, but its
designed without the built-in tab. Flat End Caps
may also be modified to accept female threads
and be integrated into dip tube fabrications.
